Custom frameless glass showers designed, measured and installed to suit your bathroom.
Every shower is made for your space by experienced Christchurch glaziers, with premium glass and hardware finishes chosen to match your bathroom.
Your shower sets the tone for the whole bathroom. It should feel calm, uncluttered and in step with the rest of the room. We start with your space and your style, then work through the details that make it work:
A few of the looks we build most, from open walk-ins to warm brass and textured glass.

A custom frameless shower involves more than measuring a gap and ordering glass. The layout, glass size, hardware and surrounding surfaces all need to work together before anything is manufactured.
Sharp Glass manages the process from the first conversation through to final installation.
You can come to us with architectural drawings, renovation plans, inspiration images or simply an idea of the look you want.
We'll discuss the space, how the shower will be used and the type of finish you are trying to achieve. If you are still unsure about the right configuration, we can help you work through the practical options.
Once the bathroom is ready for accurate measurement, our team assesses the space and confirms the shower configuration, checking dimensions, door clearance, panel positions, surrounding surfaces and hardware requirements.
With the layout confirmed, we finalise the glass and hardware. Depending on the design, this may include hinges, handles, channels, brackets or sliding hardware, with a range of finish options available.
For suitable projects, planning tools such as Opus BluePrint support the design before the glass is ordered. Working with specialist suppliers including Opus Hardware means the fittings are considered as part of the overall bathroom design, not added as an afterthought.
The aim is to resolve the important details before manufacture, rather than trying to make them work during installation.
Your shower glass is manufactured to the confirmed measurements and specifications for your bathroom.
Because frameless showers rely on accurate sizing and hardware placement, each component is prepared for the individual installation rather than supplied as a standard enclosure.
Our glaziers install the glass and hardware, make the final adjustments and ensure the shower operates as intended.
This is where careful planning becomes particularly important. The alignment of the glass, operation of the door, hardware positioning and overall finish all contribute to how the shower looks and performs once installed.
Before we finish, we check the installation, operation and overall finish with you.
You are left with a frameless shower designed specifically for your bathroom, with one team responsible for the process from measurement through to installation.
Sharp Glass uses specialist hardware and planning tools from Opus Hardware as part of the design and measurement process.
BluePrint helps us visualise your shower layout and work out the exact glass sizes and hardware it needs, before anything is cut.
Digital planning supports the process. Final measurements and installation are handled by experienced Sharp Glass glaziers.

A walk-in screen for a villa ensuite renovation. Brushed brass fixings tie in with the tapware, and the panel was positioned to keep water off the timber floor.
Low-iron glass keeps the stone tile colour true. The door was planned to clear a double vanity with room to spare.
A family bathroom with a hinged door and 90° return, measured around out-of-square walls in an older home.
A three-panel layout with fluted glass for privacy in a coastal home, using hardware suited to the sea air.
An off-the-shelf shower is made for an average bathroom. Yours isn't average. Walls are rarely square, floors fall and every layout is different. That's where experience counts.
Most frameless showers in Christchurch fall between around $2,000 and $5,500 depending on size, configuration, glass and hardware. Use the estimate builder for an indicative price, then we confirm after measuring.
